Fr. Trask was named Pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Macedonia, OH on May 1, 2000.  Before coming to OLG, he served as Associate Pastor at four other parishes in the Diocese of Cleveland:

• 1986-1991: Ss. Cosmas & Damian (Twinsburg).  
• 1991-1996: Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist (Cleveland)
• 1996-1997: Church of St. Peter (North Ridgeville), and;
• 1997-2000: Church of St. John Neumann (Strongsville)

Fr. Trask grew up in South Euclid as a parishioner of the Church of St. Gregory the Great.  He attended elementary school at St. Gregory's and is a 1977 graduate of St. Joseph High School.  He attended Borromeo Seminary College, where he earned a BA in US History.  He studied for the priesthood at Cleveland's St. Mary Seminary and was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Cleveland on June 7, 1986.
